BOHM are back!
With a brand new set of headphones
As soon as I received my Bohm B76 wireless headphones I got my Bluetooth connection and went out in the car to really test if the sound tone could handle the noise of the motoring! It was with great trepidation as I set off having acquainted myself with the controls. Even without the Active Noise Cancellation mode effected I was really pleased and when I got further away from my neighbourhood into busier traffic I turned it on. Okay, I can't say the sound quality difference was unnoticeable - it was, but I don't honestly think I could get better and think we have to accept some degradation in these circumstances - until maybe one day ...
Bohm are Classy headphones with Great Highs
So to continue with my review, the next thing I had to do was test the comfort which in some ways was a concurrent exercise but you need to check this aspect not just when you're doing a million other things whilst listening to your sounds through wireless headphones. No better way than to listen to them lounging on the sofa with a cushion behind your head and this is what I did. Who said the Bohm B76 wasn't light?! It's a great lightweight beauty - there, you can tell where I'm going with this - I get the headband on my head, snug and not too tight and what with the full leather cover and the leather ear cups that are padded as well, I'm in comfort zone right away. Bet you could even sleep with them on!
The B76 are the best we've seen in some time
Best if you don't actually sleep with them. They're built to last but better not risk it. In fact the headset is foldable and that makes it so easy to care for especially as it comes with a hard case provided. If you're like me you'll never lose charge on your phone so if you make sure you keep your headphones charged as well you won't be disappointed by the ongoing performance, though you can always switch to the minijack if you need to as it comes with the cable you need. But you've bought Bluetooth so keep it charged and believe me, with one full charge, you get up to 16 hours with Noise Cancellation (or half that if you do have the ANC mode switched on all the time). Bet you can guess it, my overall Bohm wireless headphones review of b76 wades in at a score of a whole 5 out of 5.
